Fantasy By Numbers is a business dedicated to bringing magic into everyday life through fantasy products, events, and digital experiences. We create immersive adventures like our flagship Enchanted Okotoks event, an AR MMORPG that transforms downtown Okotoks into an interactive fantasy world.

How did Fantasy By Numbers start?

Fantasy By Numbers began in 2017 with 3D printed 'build your own wands' for a fantasy-themed event in Okotoks. What started as a single ambitious project grew into a thriving business focused on creating magical experiences, custom products, and interactive adventures. We transitioned from an IT business to focus entirely on Fantasy By Numbers in 2020.

What kind of products does Fantasy By Numbers offer?

We specialize in fantasy-themed products including custom wooden wands (with over 1 billion possible combinations), dragon egg dice boxes for tabletop gamers, and various other fantasy-themed merchandise. Our products are designed to bring a touch of magic to everyday life.

Where are you located?

We're based in Okotoks, Alberta, where we host our flagship Enchanted Okotoks event. However, our products and community reach fantasy enthusiasts worldwide.

How do I join the Fantasy By Numbers Adventuring Guild?

Joining the Guild is simple! You can sign up to our newsletter or our Discord server, both can be found on the Contact Page. There are no membership fees, but some events and activities may have associated costs. Once you're a member, you'll receive regular updates about upcoming events and Guild activities.

Do I need previous experience with fantasy games to participate?

Not at all! Our events and activities are designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of their familiarity with fantasy games or literature. We welcome newcomers and are happy to help you learn and get involved.

How can I volunteer with the Guild?

We're always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with our events! You can indicate your interest in volunteering by filling out This Form. Volunteering opportunities include event setup, acting as NPCs during events, creating props and costumes, and more. We match volunteer roles to your interests and skills.

Are Guild events suitable for children?

Yes! Most of our events are family-friendly and designed for participants of all ages. We clearly mark age recommendations for each event, and many have special activities specifically for younger adventurers. Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. Our flagship event, Enchanted Okotoks, is particularly popular with families.

What benefits do Guild members receive?

Guild members receive early notification about upcoming events, access to exclusive Guild-only activities, discounts on event tickets and merchandise, and opportunities to participate in the development of future events and activities. Members also become part of our vibrant community of fantasy enthusiasts who share ideas and experiences.

How often does the Guild host events?

We aim to organize events throughout the year, with our flagship Enchanted Okotoks event typically held annually. In 2025 we intend to expand out the EarthMMO content around Okotoks that will be avaialble year round. Our Event Schedule is regularly updated with new activities and opportunities to connect with fellow Guild members.

Can I propose ideas for Guild activities or events?

Absolutely! We encourage member participation in planning and developing Guild activities. If you have ideas for events, quests, or other activities, please share them with us. Many of our most successful activities have come from member suggestions.
